AT Power Button Function Suzuki Grand Vitara

There are interesting when we examined the SUV Suzuki Grand Vitara 2.4 A / T some time ago, namely the existence of the "Power A / T" located on the left of the gear lever automatic transmission.

Further review, the Suzuki claimed that the key to increasing the length of the breath Grand Vitara. Understandably, the Grand Vitara automatic transmission system still adheres to a conventional 4-speed models, CVT or Tiptronic not like today's modern SUV.

Power buttons A / T serves to increase high rpm the car. Due to the ON position when the car will be longer breathing because of the higher rpm achieved. So the more capable car when overtaking a length.

Secrets contained in the key is the ability to adjust valve opening transmission oil. When the button is activated, the system will automatically hold the position of the teeth in the higher rpm making it more responsive when overtaking a car or on a long straight road and requiring high-rev engine.

Another advantage which we feel when turn on Power A / T is a small lag generated. So that makes switching between gears feels more comfortable.

Of course there are consequences that come from the application. Because of its use in the round withstand high rpm, fuel consumption is also more wasteful. So, if you do not really need, it's better just disable the Power A / T her.

  5. We use A/T power when driving on a pavement and if you sense the car needs more power in order for you not to press too hard on the gas pedal and you wanted more tire gripped on the ground then, just press the A/T Power ON. It will give a big help.
